Pipette & Volumetric Glassware Calibration in India

Kesar Testing Service LLP provides specialized volume calibration services to assure the accuracy and reliability of your volumetric measurement instruments.

Volume — Kesar Testing Service LLP

THE SERVICE

Pipette & volume calibration in Ahmedabad, by an NABL accredited lab.

Volume calibration establishes how much liquid your micropipettes, burettes, pipettes and volumetric flasks actually deliver or contain, usually by gravimetric measurement. Assay results, standard preparations and dilutions in QC laboratories all depend on these volumes, so small errors can carry straight through to reported results.

Kesar Testing Service LLP provides specialized volume calibration services to assure the accuracy and reliability of your volumetric measurement instruments. Our calibration techniques are committed to worldwide norms such as ISO/IEC 17025 and NABL standards, ensuring traceability and high accuracy in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and research laboratories.

We Perform the Volume Calibration Of:

1.Micropipettes (fixed and variable volume)

The range is 10 µl to 500 µl, with a calibration and measurement capability (CMC) of ±0.005 ml to ±5.00 µl.

2.Volumetric glassware : It includes pipettes, burettes, measuring cylinders, and jars.

Range: 1 ml to 20 L, CMC: ±0.004 ml to ±0.1 ml.

To achieve precise volume calibration, Kesar Testing Service LLP uses volumetric glassware, including pipettes, burettes, measuring cylinders, and volumetric flasks, along with precision micropipettes. To guarantee implementation to global standards, these instruments are calibrated using traceable reference standards. Our staff provides trustworthy and effective solutions for labs, pharmaceutical facilities, and industrial applications where precise volume measurement is essential. We provide both on-site and in-house calibration services.

WHY IT MATTERS

Why pipette & volume calibration matters
for Gujarat's industries.

Accurate, traceable calibration protects product quality and keeps your records defensible.

01

Accurate analytical results

Calibrated pipettes and glassware reduce a common, hidden source of error in assays, dilutions and standard preparations in QC and research laboratories.

02

Recognised gravimetric method

Calibration follows the gravimetric approach described in ISO 8655 for piston-operated volumetric apparatus, with correction for water temperature and density.

03

Faulty pipettes identified

Systematic and random error results show which pipettes are leaking, worn or out of tolerance, so they can be serviced before they affect results.

HOW WE WORK

How our Ahmedabad lab works with you.

Every engagement follows the same disciplined steps, so results are consistent and audit-ready.

  1. 01

    Scope your requirement

Share your instrument list, rooms or systems and the standards you work to. We confirm parameters, ranges and acceptance criteria before anything is scheduled.

  2. 02

    Plan the work

We agree dates, on-site or in-lab handling and the protocol to follow, so production and QA know exactly what will happen and when.

  3. 03

    Measure with traceable standards

Qualified engineers carry out the work using calibrated reference instruments traceable to national standards, recording raw data as they go.

  4. 04

    Report and certify

You receive clear certificates and reports — results, uncertainty or acceptance criteria, and traceability — ready for audits and regulatory inspections.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Pipette & volume calibration in Ahmedabad: your questions.

Can’t find what you need? Call +91 63579 03105 or email calibration@kesartesting.com.

How often should micropipettes be calibrated?

The interval depends on how often the pipette is used, how critical the results are, the manufacturer's guidance and your SOPs or regulatory requirements. Annual calibration is common, but heavily used pipettes in QC laboratories are often calibrated more frequently and checked in-house between calibrations.

How is a micropipette calibrated?

Micropipettes are calibrated gravimetrically: water is dispensed repeatedly and weighed on a calibrated analytical balance, and the mass is converted to volume using water temperature and density. This follows the approach described in ISO 8655 and gives both systematic error (accuracy) and random error (precision).

Do you calibrate glass volumetric flasks and burettes?

Yes. We calibrate volumetric glassware including pipettes, burettes, measuring cylinders and volumetric flasks using a gravimetric method. Contact us with the types and nominal volumes you use to confirm that they fall within our NABL scope of accreditation.

What should we do if a pipette fails calibration?

The as-found results show how far the pipette was from its nominal volume, which supports your impact assessment on earlier work. The pipette should be serviced, for example by replacing seals or the piston, and then recalibrated before it returns to use.
