Which electrical parameters can you calibrate?

We calibrate instruments measuring AC and DC voltage, AC and DC current, resistance, capacitance, frequency, time and phase. These parameters are calibrated within our NABL scope of accreditation; contact us with your instrument make and model so we can confirm that the specific ranges you need are covered.

Do you test every range of a multimeter?

We check each function and range you rely on, at points spread across the range, so the certificate reflects how the meter is actually used. If certain functions are never used in your process, we can agree a reduced test plan with you and state that clearly on the certificate.

Can you calibrate panel meters and indicators fixed in a control panel?

Yes. Panel-mounted indicators, controllers and transmitters can be calibrated in situ by injecting a known signal from a traceable calibrator and comparing the displayed value. This avoids removing wiring and keeps the equipment in service.

What happens if my meter fails calibration?

The certificate records the as-found error so you can assess whether earlier measurements were affected. Where the meter can be adjusted and you approve it, we adjust and recalibrate it. If adjustment is not possible, we tell you so you can decide whether to repair, downgrade or replace the instrument.
